Edible mushrooms were my starting point when creating this pattern, but the forest offers so many other deliciousness. We know about berries and nuts, so you can see I’ve drawn a few for the design, like hazelnuts and Beechnuts. And edible flowers can be found in the forest, too, like the Daisy! With mushrooms and berries, one has to take care to know what to eat, but a fun fact is that every kind of rosehip is edible, and they each have their own palette.
